He serves on the board of directors of the Khepera Center for Expression & Social Change, the National Black Authors Tour, the National Association of Black Writers, the American Biographical Institute’s Research Board of Advisors and board president of the Literacy Council of Prince George’s County, MD.

Webb has developed and established national media advocacy campaigns and initiatives employing artistic expression to address tobacco control, HIV/AIDS, youth violence prevention, child abuse and drug rehabilitation for poor mothers.  He has also performed and conducted workshops with juvenile offenders at St. Gabriel’s youth detention center, with adult offenders at Graterford Prison and for the National Criminal Justice Association at Temple University.

Having received his bachelor’s degree in English and Journalism from Lincoln University, PA with graduate studies at Howard University and fellowships from Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps of Journalism, Howard University, The Freedom Forum and Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education’s Institutes for Writing, Reading & Civic Education and the Media and American Democracy, he is listed in Who’s Who Among Writers, Editors and Poets, Who’s Who In Poetry and Poets Encyclopedia, International Directory of Distinguished Leadership and Outstanding Young Men of America.  He has also been the recipient of numerous awards, including The Living of A Legacy Award, Black Achievers’ Award for Distinguished Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Writing Profession and Lincoln University’s Poet of the Laureate of the Year, ACT 101 andits School of Humanities’ Alumni Recognition Awards.

Webb is currently completing his long-awaited debut novel, tentatively titled, Slaves To The Game: The Garvey Protocol, a conspiracy thriller taking on issues of race, urban neglect and government complicity.
