The Khepera Center, which is supported by a diverse and distinguished Board of Advisors providing years of expertise as well as critical guidance on the latest approaches, helps schools, community-based and non-profit organizations, government agencies and companies build capacity by addressing prevention and intervention issues among their staffs as well as the audiences and customers they serve.
We offer professional and personal development, youth development, social marketing, collaboration opportunities and resources that are engaging, culturally-competent and results-driven to:
- help educators and schools meet academic goals (or adequate yearly progress goals – AYP goals) by using students’ hardships and experiences as starting points for healing and learning rather than trauma and dysfunction;
- use creative expression to engage and empower youth as social change recipients and artist-agents;
- motivate employees, strengthen team-building and build capacity, improving work environments and increasing productivity;
- help companies take more responsible positions, also creating synergies with advocacy and creative communities without jeopardizing the corporate bottom line;
- energize and enhance non-profit or community-based organizations’ outreach efforts;
- provide resources that convert-Khepera philosophy into workable action for educators, corporations, government agencies, advocates, artists and parents;
